Thoughts on this record:
It's a mini album to pierce through the flood of music out on the net these days. The question is, do we care to listen to it? That's a giant yes! and I'll tell you why. Few artists are capable of writing pure, heartfelt and timeless music with just guitar and voice like Cavan can. Not only are his lyrics profound and thought provoking, but the melodies and arrangement are perfectly aligned. With only 6 tracks and an acappella in the middle, it's easy to connect with it and won't take up your whole day. Compare to Ray Lamontagne or Iron & Wine, but a lot cooler.
