Gatehouse Saints - "Softly"

Interesting Fact: Jim's already a successful writer, and Jen  has two successful solo albums to her name. They started the band because they thought they could both grow best by covering great songwriters/lyricists together, then using what they learn to build their own original songs and influence their own solo work. So far, it's working.

my 2 cents: Although this song doesn't have that huge radio hook, it surely does what it needs to do to draw you in, with a more subtle approach. Softly- is a Nicely written Joni Mitchell-esque portrayal that would give any folk band a run for their money.
